Content:[30/30] I like this diary. For some reason, it really spoke to me. The content of the entry itself seems to become insignificant, and is a by-product of masterful technical writing that flows in prose. The writing is engaging, unique and so expressive. There's not a great deal more that I can say, but the points awarded are according to the writing.
I was not bored for a second.
Layout:[40/25] This layout is a masterpiece. I absolutely adore it. I may be biased (being a fanatical Radiohead fan), but this layout is clean, expressive, suits the diary and resonates the personality of the writer. The lines are crisp, everything falls under a theme, and the designer has paid tribute to the inspiration of the layout, which is very impressive.
So what is it about this layout that has really pushed my buttons? It's relatively simple, but knockout. It commands your attention. It fits every syllable within the writer. It expresses what the words fail to do. Each button is placed with purpose, each link completed with thought. That and it doesn't have Christina Aguilera or Avril dancing across it.
And it's self designed.
It blows my mind. Kudos.
Updates:[10/10] Every day, and if not, multiples.
Extras:[8/10] Photos (lots of), poetry, reviews, favourites page, a school journal, quizzes/surveys, rings. Not a lot by diaryland standards, but more than enough to help you understand more about the person we are reading.
Errors:[10/10] Notta one. Crisp and clean.
Contact:[5/5] A button to click and add her, email address, notes, AIM. Bonus:[5/5] For one fantastic, themed, pure, honest diary. A rarity in the world of shit that is diaryland.
Returning:[5/5] Most definitely.
